“House of Gerhart Hauptmann” Municipal Museum in Jagniątków

Gerhart Hauptmann – a German playwright, novelist, and Nobel Prize winner. The museum is located in the beautiful neo-Renaissance villa where Hauptmann spent most of his life, and which is surrounded by a large park. Some of the rooms you can see include the writer’s office, library and the fireplace room.

Chojnik Castle

The ruins of Chojnik Castle are one of the biggest attractions of Jelenia Góra. Located on the top of the Chojnik Mountain, they enrapture with their power, the superb views from the walls and the rich history.

Natural Museum of Giant Mountains National Park in Jelenia Góra

Municipal Museum of Toys in Karpacz

The museum tells the 200-year story of toy making through its collection of dolls, vehicles, characters from fairy tales, doll houses, etc. A very charming place to visit, for both children and adults.

Wang Temple in Karpacz

Wang Temple was built at the turn of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries as a religious building, in Norway, by Vang Lake. The building is an original example of Norwegian art, brought to Karpacz in the mid-nineteenth century. The building impresses with its ornaments, sculptures and unique atmosphere.

The Cieplice Baths
